The Bull Run
RT-2A, Shirley, Massachusetts 01464
Join us to welcome Italian artist Ylenia Mino to The Bull Run and Central Mass. She lives and works in NYC. She is an emerging artist who works with Maia Hamilton, a gallery owner in NYC, with whom we have organized a show or two.
We wanted to bring her to Central Mass to see how everyone here likes her work. We will have light snacks and of course! The Bull Run is a great place to enjoy lunch or dinner before or after and pick up an afternoon cocktail.
Here is a bit about Ylenia:
Ylenia Mino was born at the foot of the Italian Alps in the small town of Ivrea. Since she was little, Ylenia has had a significant interest in art. Every spare moment she had was dedicated to drawing or painting.
During childhood she attended classes with an extraordinary Egyptian painter who specialized in oil painting. In the following years Ylenia also concentrated on classical studies such as ancient Greek, Latin, philosophy and art history. She graduated with a classical diploma. During this same time she developed a great passion for dance, acting and singing.
In March 2011 Ylenia debuted as a solo artist at the International Artexpo, New York, and later displayed her work in San Francisco. In the following year she exhibited worldwide, in London and Innsbruck (Austria), and around Italy.
She collaborated with the Lali Roberts Gallery in San Francisco and also with the New York online press, tweetspeak Every Day Poems. She is listed as an artist on the website, the Art World (see the-art-world.com). Her paintings have also been featured in Italy magazine.
Because she believes in helping, encouraging and supporting people, Ylenia supports different charities and causes, such as The Value of a Smile in Tanzania. She hopes this support will help to improve living conditions for those the charity serves, and give them a chance to develop their full potential and to fulfill their destinies. Ylenia wants the creativity inside each person to be set free.
