Matryoshka: The Russian Nesting Doll Exhibition On View Saturday, May 18 to Saturday, July 20, 2013 Traveling Exhibition from The Museum of Russian Art, Minneapolis From children's toys to avant-garde art objects, the new exhibition features 83 Matryoshka wooden nesting dolls of decreasing size placed one inside the other depicting ancient legends, religious themes, or political caricatures. 		A Day of Activities for the Whole Family! Family Day: All Dolled Up! Celebrating Matryoshka, The Nesting Doll Exhibition Saturday, May 18, 9AM - 3PM Adults $7, Seniors (59 and over) $5 Students (with ID) & children (3-17) $2, Children under 3 FREE! Click Here for more information. Free activities all day, including cookie decorating, snacks, art activities, a reading corner, family-friendly gallery tours at 10am, noon and 1pm and storytelling. Author Corinne Demas reads from her book The Littlest Matryoshka at noon and 2pm. Book signing follows the readings.
