You are cordially invited to attend a Make it in America Town Hall Meeting this Monday at 6:00PM in Lawrence.
 
In the midst of stubbornly high unemployment Congresswoman Tsongas has been working with her colleagues in the United States House of Representatives to advance the Make it in America agenda and the President’s jobs proposal. Part of her role as your representative in Washington D.C. is to listen to your thoughts as we grapple with the challenge of economic recovery.

The Congresswoman has assembled a panel of experts to take her questions and yours about how we can grow economic opportunity through American manufacturing. These individuals have strong backgrounds in workforce training, education, and academics. The Congresswoman intends to spark a conversation about how we can support American workers through investments in education and training as well as how we can create quality jobs that can’t be outsourced. She is interested in hearing your thoughts as well.
