LUNCH WITH TED
Bring your lunch and drop in for a weekly discussion of a T.E.D. Talk on-line presentation. These 14-18 minute talks cover the fields of Technology, Education and Design, and much more. Watch the chosen talk online at home or at the Library and come prepared to enjoy stimulating conversations for one hour. No pre-registration is required.
The first TED Talk will be Why 30 is Not the New 20 by Meg Jay (viewed by 2.5 million people). After the first session, each week’s TED Talk will be posted online at gpl.org.

Facilitators: Bobbie Lamont and Mary Jennings. Bobbie and Mary each led a TED Talk seminar in the 2012/13 library year. Mary (see bio below) is also helping to coordinate the Life Long Learning Seminars. Bobbie has lived in Groton for 16 years and has taught Chemistry at the Groton School. She has volunteered for the public schools, GDEF, Senior Center, Groton Cultural Council, and the Greenway Committee.
