We'll combine hands-on science discoveries with a trolley ride, and an informative walk with Thoreau. These fun-filled experiences will share Thoreau's love of the natural world. Downloadable pdf Flyer Offered in partnership with Bigelow Free Public Library, Clinton Parks and Recreation, and Rauscher Farm 2–3:30pm — Summer Rambling Meet at Bigelow Free Public Library, 54 Walnut Street, Clinton, MA Join author-naturalist Corinne Smith on the steps of the Bigelow Free Public Library and then off to explore the Central Park neighborhood using Thoreau’s methods of observing and reporting on Nature. 3:30pm — Board Trolley to Rauscher Farm Seating is limited; reservations made by calling library only. Hop on a trolley for a short ride to Rauscher Farm to meet the famous naturalist himself. Trolley will return to the Library from Rauscher Farm. Sponsored by Friends of the Bigelow Free Public Library. 4–4:45pm — Walking with Thoreau at Rauscher Farm, 29 Clamshell Road, Clinton, MA Join Henry Thoreau, aka historical interpreter and scholar, Richard Smith, for an engaging 45-minute walk through meadows and woodlands.
