* How We Pay for Water

"How We Pay for Water," Sep. 17

Water is life, and to protect our local water systems we must plan our future carefully. Community members are invited to join Clean Water Action and State Senator James Eldridge (Acton) on Monday, September 17th to discuss public water infrastructure - current threats to our drinking water, opportunities for moving forward, and how we all can take action for clean water. Marion Stoddart, Founder & Director Emeritus of the Nashua River Water Assocation, will speak on her experience as a local advocate, and the need to work  proactively to protect our environment. Issues of water management affect all people: to ensure safe and healthy communities we cannot wait to create strong, durable water systems in Massachusetts.

Event begins at 6:30 p.m. and will run till approximately 8 p.m. Address: 52 Washington Street, Ayer, walking distance from downtown. Space is limited, please RSVP. For more information, call the Wool family at 978-772-2925 or 978-697-0361, or email  jwool@cleanwater.org.
