Holiday Greetings,
Please forgive me for sending this notice out so late. I have no idea what happened to November. This month's meeting is going to be a doozy. You will notice the time change for December and the new location. The reason for the change is due to availability of our beautiful and large meeting space.
Let's talk about the party and tools and blessing others.
As a member of the Lancaster Garden Club, the club would like to bestow you a gift of a shiny sharp tool(s). A Holiday Gift to you from the club will be tool sharpening. Lancaster's own Master Forger and local celebrity and artist Matt Vanier will be teaching us how to sharpen tools and will be sharpening tools for the duration of the meeting. Members will have one tool and one knife sharpened for free. Non-members the fee is 10.00; or join the club and have it for free. If time permits you can bring other tools. Party time: Not only are our gardeners great with plants, but they sure can also cook and bake too. Please bring along your dish to share and enjoy. Time to let your culinary talents shine (like our tools). When registering for the event please send along what dish you will be bringing. We will supply beverages, tea, coffee, cider, and hot chocolate.
Now that we are fed and have sharp tools, let's share the joy of blessing others. Help us create festive holiday arrangements, one to have and one to share. The arrangements we create will be handed out to local nursing homes and rehab centers. Please bring a handful of some greens from home, the more the merrier.
We have been blessed this year as a club and want to share our joy with one another.
