* Hey Day at Wachusett Meadow
An annual favorite, Hey Day, returns to Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary, Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The fee is $6 for adult members, $8 for adult non-members, $6 for child members and $8 for child non-members.
Join in for farm-related demonstrations, exhibits, and free hands-on activities for people of all ages including cider pressing, hayrides, and canoeing.
There will be cheese, cider, baked goods, produce, and for food for sale.
An art sale with rural-themed items will also be held.
For children there will be a mini-maze, farm animals, pumpkin painting, and free pony rides.
