Fort Devens Museum’s annual Armed Forces Day free admission open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 94 Jackson Road, Devens, features two special programs, new and added-to regular exhibits, a great set of raffle prizes to vie for, and light refreshments. At 11 a.m. historian Eamon McCarthy Earls presents a talk on the Cold War as it affected New England, based on his just-published book. Then at 2 p.m. Noel Rainville and Sandy Shepherd from the United Native American Cultural Center on Devens tell about Native American veterans awarded medals for extraordinary valor in battle and distinguished service to our country.
