| Our spectacular Flute Orchestra continues its ruby-silver anniversary season with a holiday concert. Come for the novelty, stay for the music! Dr. Eileen Yarrison conducts A Christmas Overture arranged by Bill Holcombe, excerpts from The Nutcracker, Z. Randall Stroope’s There Is No Rose; a lively, off-beat setting of Deck the Halls, Peter Senchuk’s Kinda Blue Xmas, and other songs of the season. Guest tubist Joe Wright will join the group for Helicon Scottische by J.H. Woods. This is a family-friendly concert. |
