The Environmental Health and Science Roundtable, hosted by the non-profit Devens Eco-Efficiency Center, will provide opportunities for local employees with EH&S responsibilities to get a review of Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) regulations. Businesses are encouraged to attend to be informed of how these rules apply to operational practices in their facility. On Friday, April 24 a representative of MassDEP's Central Region Bureau of Air and Waste will provide an overview of regulations pertaining to topics such as discharges and emissions, solid and hazardous wastes, toxic chemical use, and related areas of environmental performance. This forum will provide a valuable overview for attendees, as well as an opportunity to gain tips to minimize the environment and human health impacts of their facility?s operations. Coffee and treats will be served.
