* Early Migratory Bird Talk and Walk

Early Migratory Bird Talk and Walk
Saturday, March 23, 2013, 10:00 a.m. to noon, at the Townsend Public Library, 12 Dudley Road in Townsend

Are those robins really an early sign of spring? The NRWA and the Friends of the Townsend Public Library invite you to this bird lecture and walk led by Mark Archambault, NRWA’s Smart Growth Circuit Rider, an avid birder.  Mark’s PowerPoint presentation and talk on our early migratory birds will be followed by a visit to near-by locations to see if we can spot some early nesters, such as Eastern Bluebirds and Great blue Herons. Attendees will travel by their own car to the outdoor viewing location. To register for the program, visit the Library’s website, www.townsendlibrary.org, or contact Kim King, (978) 597-5804 or johnkimking@verizon.net.  FREE
