| The Gallery is pleased to host African Drumming classes for children and adults taught by Master Drummer Issa Coulibaly (issacoulibaly.com). Issa, originally from Mali, West Africa, is a dynamic performer who teaches at Connecticut College. He has performed at the Grand Reopening of the Gallery of African Art as well as provided subsequent demonstrations on Thursday evenings when the Gallery is open for tours. |
Adult Classes(Age 18 and up) 5:00PM - 6:30PM Wednesdays, February 6, 2013 - March 13, 2013 OR Fridays, February 8, 2013 - March 15, 2013 Cost: $100 for six classes over six weeks; $3/class drum rental available upon request. Class absence can be made up either on either day, Wed. or Fri. |
