On Sunday September 11, 2011 James Pelletier, a Winchedon MA Poet, along with Mount Wachusett Community College and members of its Veterans Group will hold a Remember to Remember Memorial to honor and reflect on those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. The Memorial is open to the public and will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the flags on the front lawn of the College Campus. Remember to Remember is a silent memorial, except for the reading of names of the victims. Actress Betsy Palmer is the voice reading the names from the Airlines; volunteers from the Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D) recorded the names of the Twin Tower victims, and FDNY Firemen; actor Jerry Orbach reads the names of the police officers; the Port Authority names will be read by Alan Hicks; The recording was organized by artist/poet James Pelletier of Winchendon, MA. Production Director, Todd Palumbo, created the recordings at the NY-Unit Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic studio of the New York victims' names. The recording of The Pentagon victims by Adm. Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was recorded at The Pentagon. The public is invited to participate during the memorial at any time between 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Some flowers will be provided for placing at the base of the flag pole.
