Join the Ashburnham Conservation Trust, Rail Trail Committee, and Conservation Commission for an informative walk on the former tracks of the Cheshire Railroad that once connected towns to Fitchburg rail lines. Ashburnham's rail-trail is in the making and will improve safe, non-motorized access to the center of town, and someday connect with other trails to Winchendon and New Hampshire. Don't miss a unique opportunity for a behind-the scenes tour of the pianos at the Historical Piano Study Center. Treat yourself to some relaxation and conversation at The Peppermint Pig and view old photos shared by the Rail Trail Committee.
Meet at the Town Hall parking lot for this special afternoon!
