The Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce will host its eleventh annual Community Service & Leadership Awards (CSLA) event on Wednesday, November 4, 2009. The event will be held at the DevensCommonCenter, Devens. Award categories are as follows:
Outstanding Citizen/Volunteer – named for the late Robert W. Lewis, the award is given to an individual who has advanced the community significantly by his or her contribution of time, talent and efforts.
The honorees this year are Emily Norton (W. Townsend) and Deborah Seeley (Shirley).
Outstanding Company/Organization Award – named for the late Roy L. Jeannotte, it is given to a company or organization that has made a substantial contribution to the lasting enhancement of the Nashoba Valley Region by demonstrating exceptional leadership and community involvement.
Girl Scout Troup #657 of Ayer will be this years recipient.
Outstanding Professional/Business Person – this award is given to a business or professional person who through extraordinary effort in his/her chosen field has contributed significantly to the Nashoba Valley Region.
The awards this year will be given to Nancy Cook (Westford) and Tim Holland (Ayer).
Festivities will begin at 5:30 PM and will include a cash bar and entertainment featuring pianist Donn Hill. Dinner and program to begin at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $35.00 each (Senior citizens $25, Children’s $15). Advance registrations only. Make your reservations now to honor these special people.
