Creating awareness and educating the public, especially our young people, on the effects of substance abuse is crucial to our ongoing battle. With help from many, I will be hosting a Community Opioid Awareness Forum on May 10th, from 5:30-8:30pm at Clinton High School in the Auditorium.
All high school students and their parnets who live in the 12th Worcester District (Clinton, Berlin, Boylston, Lancaster, Northborough, and Sterling) are invited and encouraged to attend. The event will include helpful resource tables and an expert substance abuse panel with a Q & A session for the audience afterwards.
This will be a very helpful and informational event for our community's high school students and their parents. The event will be open to the general public as well.
Further details about this event will be released in the near future, including which stakeholders will be present and who, specifically, will be on the panel. In the mean time, check out and pass along our events page on Facebook:
