Michigan native Claudia Schmidt Claudia Schmidt brings her exuberant music back to the Bull Run! With her multi-octave voice, 12 string guitar and mountain dulcimer, she weaves together song, story and spoken word in a one-of-a-kind presentation that will fill your heart and refresh your soul. After 50 years of writing and performing, she is as strong as ever, sharing her wonder and amazement at the world and all the creatures, including us, who inhabit it. She just released her 22nd album, "Reimagining," and is working on new material for yet another release in this celebratory year. She has toured North America as well as Europe in venues ranging from intimate clubs to 4,000 seat theatres, and festival stages in front of 25,000 rapt listeners. Her 22 albums are mostly original songs, exploring folk, blues, and jazz.

Schmidt weaves her way through her concert in much the same manner as a jester. She has that rare ability to remain fresh and enjoy her talent to entertain as much as the audience enjoys being entertained.

She is officially naming this year of performing CLAUDFEST.
