How Will SPARC Work?
Community members are invited to a tour and a talk on SPARC, the world’s first commercially relevant fusion energy machine being constructed at our campus in Devens. Learn how SPARC will work from our Director of Tokamak Operations, Alex Creely. Alex is a scientist and engineer on a quest for clean energy who has been at CFS since 2019, after starting as lucky number 13 at the company. Alex has worked on fusion projects around the world and will share his knowledge, experience, and optimism about a future in which the world runs on clean energy.
Following the talk will be a Meet & Greet with Alex and other members of the CFS Team as well as tours of Tokamak Hall where SPARC is currently under construction. We hope you can join us at our Commonwealth Fusion Systems Headquarters at 117 Hospital Road, Devens MA on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
