"Make a spot next to the Jackie Wilson exhibit at the Hall; a new Mr. Excitement is on the way." - Hittin'the Note
"Mr. Németh is a force to be reckoned with in the world of the blues. His voice is, without a doubt, incredible. He sings with so much emotion that the listener will not be able to not think of legends such as James Brown, Percy Sledge, and B.B. King.” - No Depression
“The vocalist/harmonica player and his band here deliver top-shelf goods that can hold their own alongside the finest journeyman work of the mid-Sixties soul era they embrace. Németh & crew are bona fide throwbacks in the most flattering sense of the term. And the cat up front might be the best white r&b singer on the planet.‟ - Jazz-Blues Report
“Németh is with little doubt the most accomplished male vocalist of his generation traveling the blues highway today.” - East Bay Express
John Németh was probably the only kid in Boise who grew up in the 1980s listening to Chicago blues…
In the three decades since, Németh has transformed himself from a fan to a modern soul-blues purveyor of the highest order, receiving five Blues Music Award nominations in 2012 and two in 2013, including the B.B. King Entertainer of the Year award.
