Book to Film Club MONDAY, JANUARY 10th 6:30—8:30 PM
We're hosting a new book and film club at the Library! Open to anyone looking to discuss books, films, and books-made-into-films, we're combining these ideas into one new club for 2022!
Each month we will pick a new book that has been adapted for the screen. Read the book before the monthly meeting, then we will watch the film and discuss our thoughts afterwards. We will talk about the differences between the two, elements that took us by surprise, things we enjoyed, and take a poll on which version we liked best.
For our first meeting in January we are reading True Grit by Charles Pontis, then watching the 2010 adaptation at our meeting on Monday January 10th. Please register for each event in the series that you plan to attend. Please register here for January's meeting.
