Representatives of the Ayer Shirley Regional School District and the School Building Committee will present information regarding the district’s plan for major capital improvements to the regional high school. The $56.5 million project, which recently received approval and a 70% reimbursement rate from the Massachusetts School Building Authority, will involve renovations and additions to the 50-year-old high school located in Ayer. School representatives will discuss the need, benefits, and local costs associated with this project, which will be voted upon by the communities of Ayer and Shirley in an election scheduled for Saturday, November 17.
