The Ayer Police Department is proud to announce another Citizen Police Academy. Today’s society presents the police with complex social problems that require a team effort to resolve. A key member on this team is YOU, the citizen. We must work together to find creative and effective solutions to make Ayer a better place to live and work. “Community Policing” is this partnership. One step in this process has been the formation of local COMMUNITY POLICE ACADEMIES. The object of the Citizen Police Academy is to build a bridge between the police and the community they serve.
