The Ayer Historical society wishes to invite you to celebrate in a day of recognition to the
Heart and Soul of Ayer
This February 14th marks the 142nd anniversary of the incorporation of our town. Now this particular anniversary may not be of great significance in markings of anniversaries. But it is yet another year of the continuum of a great community and an opportunity to begin an annual tradition of celebration and unitya. A horn blown loud and clear to the townsman if you may, a gathering of the people that today are forming the history of tomorrow!
Join us Saturday February 16th at 3:00 P.M in the Great Hall in spectacular meeting reminiscent of days of old. Imagine plush ground of merchants to connect with purveyors, a podium of committees and boards to spread the message of their great works, a stage filled with the words of history, the young voices of our future and the nods of recognitions to the citizens of our humble town that have served with great magnitude!
Take this opportunity to mingle with your fellow man and build higher the foundation of community that is the heart and soul of Ayer. Reserve your table to brandish your goods and services! Reserve a moment to speak to the citizens of the works of your committee, invite volunteers and educate the people you serve of the upcoming events and ambitions. Each society and committee serves a greater need to further the progress of our home that we all take pride to be a part of, COME and RALLY the troops!
This is an amazing opportunity to connect with a handshake and a smile, to form new alliances face to face, to do business old school, Top Hats Optional (but preferred).
