Confronting "The Bomb" in the New Atomic Age

After being postponed due to the pandemic, Atomic Alert: Confronting "The Bomb" the New Atomic Age will be on view in the auditorium beginning June 28. This exhibit explores the government’s efforts in the 1950s to educate Americans about what to do before an atomic attack, how to react to a sudden, blinding flash, and what action to take in the aftermath of an atomic blast.
