Have you ever wondered if you could rewrite history? Go back in time and change the whole direction of a war? Engage in science fiction battles? Come to Fort Devens Museum on Saturday November 15 and join in one (or all!) miniature wargames depicting different battles from world history and fantasy and see how your careful moves might affect the outcomes.
Players of all ages are welcome to join in throughout the day. There is absolutely no experience necessary, just come and try the games out and have fun!
Different games will be played concurrently, many with handcrafted soldiers and detailed battleground terrain. The games include a Victorian Science Fiction game, Retreat from Concord, High Heavens (Battle between Norse, Greek, and Egyptian Gods), and The Battle of the Denmark Strait. It’s a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in both historical military events and today’s realm of miniature gaming.
