Tuesday, June 3, 12 p.m. When an individual is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, everyone in the family is affected. Learn what to expect and how to cope with the changes at this presentation. Guests are encouraged to bring their loved one to enjoy a meal with residents during this free Lunch and Learn.

Tuesday, June 17, 12 p.m. Learn the basics of Alzheimer’s disease and the syndrome of dementia from Wellness Director Michelle Cormier, LPN. Guests are encouraged to bring their loved one to enjoy a meal with residents during this free Lunch and Learn.
CEU: Behavioral Challenges
Saturday, June 19, 8 a.m. How do you help someone who is resistant? Mary Crowe, LICSW, ACHP-SW, of Care Dimensions, will offer tips on how to care for someone with memory impairment who is exhibiting challenging behavior.
Nurses, social workers, licenses mental health counselors, nursing home administrators and certified case managers will earn one hour CEU credit for attending this free class. Breakfast will be served.
