Acton Cooling Centers Available

Cooling centers will be available Monday June 23rd and Tuesday June 24th



This week's forecasted heat wave marks the first of the season, when the risk is highest. Data show that heat-related illnesses and hospital visits spike during the first stretch of 85 degree days, before people have acclimated to the heat.
 
Cooling centers are open across Acton to help you stay comfortable during the heat wave. Locations include:
Acton Memorial Library - 486 Main Street (Monday & Tuesday: 9am - 8pm)
Health and Human Services Center - 30 Sudbury Road (Monday: 8am-5pm; Tuesday: 8am-7:30pm)
Public Safety Facility - 371 Main Street (24-hour availability)
