Amy Fagin is a New England based visual artist specializing in the traditional art form of manuscript illumination.This illustrated lecture will traverse the social and cultural evolution of what is now known as the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia through the art of Abyssinian/Ethiopic Illuminated Manuscripts.
