SpringHill Suites by Marriott Partners with ArtsNashoba for 2nd annual ArtNight;
Event will also serve as a fundraiser for Wounded Warriors Family Support High Five Tour
WHAT: Student artists and artisans in all media will share and exhibit their work at an admission-free reception honoring local talent. Adding a community service element to the event, the hotel will be accepting donations to the Wounded Warriors Family Support’s 2014 High Five Tour.
WHEN: Tuesday, June 3, 2014, 6 – 8pm
WHERE: SpringHill Suites by Marriott and Devens Common Center
27 Andrews Parkway, Devens, MA 01434
WHY: ArtNight is a SpringHill Suites initiative designed to enable visibility for local art students and artisans while exposing guests to the local art scene. The Devens location is one of more than 285 SpringHill Suites hotels in the U.S. and Canada hosting their own “evening of inspiration” to celebrate local talent. The initiative is an extension of SpringHill Suites’ brand-wide message, “Space to Inspire,” that focuses on the style and design of SpringHill Suites hotels.
The Wounded Warriors Family Support High Five Tour will take a red, white and blue 2014 Ford Mustang GT500 27,000 miles across all 48 states to raise a goal of $1 million to build “smart homes” for two deserving wounded warriors and their families. The specially designed homes are custom-built to provide the severely wounded veterans quality of life and independence that otherwise would not be possible.
WHO: ArtNight is co-presented by SpringHill Suites and ArtsNashoba. True North Hotel Group, the hotel’s management company, is a national sponsor of the Wounded Warriors Family Support High Five Tour.
