DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, February 27- March 27\, 1PM - 3PM\n\nWinter Workshop: Still-Life Drawing Class with Helen Byers     \n\nMembers $180\, Nonmembers $210 \n\nUsing Fruitlands Museum collections as inspiration\, students will build and hone drawing skills in our new art class by local artist Helen Byers.  Still-life subjects will be objects borrowed from Fruitlands' rich collections   Native American pottery\, Shaker bentwood boxes\, nineteenth-century market baskets and more. Explore the effects of traditional media including charcoal\, graphite\, and Conte crayons on paper as you learn the basics of drawing techniques\, composition\, line\, proportion and value.  A list of recommended supplies will be sent to participants. Appropriate for all levels. Space is limited. Registration required. Email programming@fruitlands.org
