SUMMARY:* Winter Hike from Fitch's Bridge through Johnston and Hayes
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, January 20\, 2013 beginning at 1:00 p.m.\; see meeting location below\n\n \n\n	This guided trail hike will begin at 1 p.m. sharp on Sunday\, January 20th. Join members of the Groton Trails Committee and the Groton Greenway Committee on a winter guided hike through the Johnston and Hayes Conservation areas. Before starting the hike\, the group will explore the old Fitch's Bridge and the new connector trail to it. Then\, they will hike together through these beautiful wooded conservation areas. The hike will take about two hours. Dress warmly if the weather is cold and wear appropriate boots if there is snow on the ground. If the snowpack is deep\, snow shoes and ski poles can make trekking easier. Dogs must be well behaved\, and if small children present\, leashed. The hike will be held unless it is very stormy.\n\n \n\n	Meeting location: Take Pepperell Road to Wallace Road\, parking on the side of Wallace Road\, a short distance south. Walk back to Pepperell Road and meet at Fitch's Bride to start the hike. For more information\, please contact Olin Lathrop of the Groton Trails Committee at (978) 742-9014\, or email Olin.
