\nThe Bruce Marshall Group \;- 2023 was a big year for Bruce Marshall and his group! Bruce inked a 14 song Publishing contract with \;V and M Tracks Music\, the publishing arm of the \;Verdict Music \;label. That Fall they signed a 4 record/download deal with Verdict and Sony the Orchard distribution. Their first release is now out\, The Bruce Marshall Group\, &ldquo\;Vintage to Verdict&rdquo\;\, available on all platforms\, in 176 countries! A best of collection culled from their 7 records\, it features 2 new songs and the single &ldquo\;Only Love."\;

\nTheir show will be in celebration of the new release and signing with Verdict. The band will play the disc in its entirety and romp through 2 sets of the best Swing Blues\, R a B\, Rock and Americana that they&rsquo\;re famous for. This is the 5 piece band featuring newest member \;John Vanderpool \;on sax and flute. \;Dave Cournoyer \;is celebrating 30 years with Bruce on lead guitar! Drummer \;Pete Premo \;and Bassist \;Glenn DiTommaso \;are the group&rsquo\;s longtime ace rhythm section.

\nThis will also be a celebration of Bruce Marshall&rsquo\;s 50th year as a professional musician. He did his first professional gig in 1974 at Spencers in Leominster\, 10 miles away. He also played with \;Toy Caldwell\, the founder\, lead guitarist and primary songwriter of the original \;Marshall Tucker Band\, in &rsquo\;89 and &rsquo\;90\, AND was half of the \;Montgomery and Marshall acoustic duo \;with bluesman \;James Montgomery. A tireless performer armed with great originals\, an expressive\, soulful voice and a commanding guitar style\, both on electric\, acoustic and steel dobro\, he&rsquo\;s earned a reputation as one of New England&rsquo\;s best.
