Join us for this walk at Heald Orchard\, an 80-acre property owned by the town of Pepperell\, which is a former working apple orchard and also includes pond and forest ecosystems providing habitat for a wide variety of birds. Our walk\, led by Stacey Chilcoat\, NRWA Environmental Education Director\, is designed for adults and families with children ages 12 and up. No previous birding experience is necessary. Attendees should dress appropriately for a field walk including sturdy shoes and should consider mosquito/tick bite protection. If available\, also bring binoculars and a field guide. For the comfort of all\, no dogs are allowed. This walk is free and open to the public. Space is limited\; pre-registration is required. Directions will be provided to registrants. Register today.
