DESCRIPTION:http://tickets.bullrunrestaurant.com/\n\n\n\n10-05-2012\n\n\n\nThe 3rd annual Shirley Meeting House Fundraiser features Krisanthi Pappas\, a Boston-based entertainer and songwriter with ties to the New York music scene\, Krisanthi and band will perform jazzy arrangements of Broadway show tunes\, along with her own compositions.\n\nMs. Pappas has been compared to Norah Jones and Diana Krall by JazzTIme magazine.  She has the husky-voiced passion of Bonnie Raitt and the swinging playfulness of Ella Fitzgerald.  Cadence magazine compared her songwriting style to Randy Newman's\, while her mellow pop writing is similar to that of Colbie Caillat and Michael Buble.\n\n\n\nThe inimitable "Ukulele Ladies" will once again perform and entertain with rousing and original songs.\n\n\n\nWe are also proud to have as our guests\, the fabulous Bull Run Players.\n\n\n\nSpecial thanks to the Shirley Charitable Foundation for sponsoring this event and their continuing support.\n\n\n\nTickets for dinner and the show are $45.00 (includes dinner and show) and can be purchased online or by calling or emailing Patty MacDonald at 978-425-4779 or dfabs14@comcast.net
