DESCRIPTION:The Ride for Our Heroes is an event honoring our nation's service members\, veterans and their families\, while raising vital funds for the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program.  The Home Base Program is dedicated to improving the lives of New England veterans who were deployed in support of the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan and now live with deployment- or combat-related stress and/or traumatic brain injury.  Home Base also provides counseling support to veterans' families\, offers educational courses and materials for health care providers and the public\, and brings together world-class researchers seeking medical breakthroughs in the prevention\, diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injury and stress-related disorders.\n\n	The Ride features three starting points from 3 locations in New England\, and concludes with the WZLX Ride for Our Heroes Party at Fort Devens in Devens\, MA that will be fun for everyone\, whether you ride or not! The Party features a BBQ buffet\, raffles\, family activities\, Red Sox legends and live music by 1970s classic rock band Foghat\, whose iconic hits include "Slow Ride"\, "Fool for the City"\, and "I Just Want to Make Love to You".  Party includes a full BBQ buffet. Tickets for the party are only $25 for Adults\, $10 for children ages 3-12\, and all children under 3 are free! Participants in the Ride receive free entry to the Party with reserved parking and special concert access.\n\n	To register for the Ride for Our Heroes or to purchase tickets to the WZLX Ride for Our Heroes Party\, go to www.rideforourheroes.org.
