DESCRIPTION:Our Public Policy Committee June meeting will be held on Tuesday\, June 3rd from 8am to 915am at the Chamber's office in Devens. Secretary of Transportation Richard Davey will be our guest speaker.\n\n \n\nSecretary Davey was appointed by the Governor to serve as Chief Executive Officer of MassDOT. The organization oversees four new divisions: Highway\, Mass Transit\, Aeronautics and the Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV)\, in addition to an Office of Planning and Programming. \n\nThey also have oversight of the MBTA and Commuter Rails.\n\n \n\nWe look forward to a dialogue with the Secretary regarding local roads and bridges\, the commuter rail\, and other issues affecting our region.\n\n \n\nOur committee meetings are great opportunities to converse one-on-one with political leaders and learn about issues on Beacon Hill affecting your business.  Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month - Chamber Members are invited to join - RSVP to Melissa@nvcoc.com
