DESCRIPTION:Painting with Pastels\, Joelle Feldman\n\nTuesdays\, April 21-May 26\, 6:30PM-8:30PM\n\n\n\n$200 Members\, $250 Nonmembers\n\nThis class for beginner to intermediate students is about learning\, creativity and fun! Join us for a hands-on class with an individual coaching approach. Students will learn how to build a pastel painting from start to finish. We will focus on composition\, texture\, color\, drawing an outline\, applying an under-painting and gradually building pastel layers until the painting is complete.You will also learn basic techniques and good study habits that will help you master the pastel painting process and\, ultimately\, give you greater creative freedom in the medium. Once you have learned basic pastel techniques\, your goal will be to express your vision of the subject matter in the medium. You will be free to select your subject matter\, favorite palette and painting surfaces and apply your on-going learning in your own way.This is your time to learn\, to experiment and have fun with the whole process.  There is no room for fear of failure in this class because there are no grades!  Let your creativity take center stage. You will be amazed at what you can achieve!
