DESCRIPTION:Tap the Sap: Maple Sugaring Workshop for Families\n\nSaturday\, March 7\, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. in Groton\n\nNothing says spring is on its way like maple sugaring! Join us for this tasty family workshop on how to make maple syrup from a tree. Our activities will include maple tree identification\, hands-on practice to drill and tap\, sap tasting\, active tree games\, and listening to a story about maple sugaring while enjoying a delicious sample. This program is appropriate for ages 4 to 10 years and their families\; backpack babies welcome.  Fee: NRWA members- $6/person or $18/family\; Non-members $8/person or $24/family. Pre-registration is required. Directions to program location will be provided upon registration. To register\, please call the NRWA at (978) 448-0299\, or email StaceyC@NashuaRiverWatershed.org.
