DESCRIPTION:Nashoba Valley Medical Center Hosts Free Medical Seminar \n\nAre Thyroid Nodules a Serious Health Problem? \n\n \n\n \n\nAyer\, MA   August  13 2012- Nashoba Valley Medical Center  is offering a "Meet the Expert" medical seminar on Wednesday\, September 12\, 2012 from 6pm-7pm at the hospital.  The seminar\, presented by Roshney Jacob\, MD\, will focus on defining thyroid nodules and identifying their malignant potential. Dr. Roshney will discuss how nodules are evaluated and give a brief overview on the management of thyroid cancer. \n\n \n\nDr. Roshney is an endocrinologist at Nashoba Valley Medical Center's Diabetes and Endocrine Center.  She specializes in diabetes\, metabolic disorders\, and numerous endocrine issues including thyroid\, pituitary and adrenal dysfunction. \n\n \n\n "Meet the Expert" is a monthly program offered at Nashoba Valley Medical Center.  All lectures are free and open to the general public. A 1.0 contact hour will be awarded to health care professionals at the completion of the presentation.
