\nSome souls just seem to shine. Yesterday\, today and even in the ever after. \;Lee Villaire \;was one of those \;souls. Taken all too quickly and all too soon Lee is now raising a little hell in Rock &\; Roll Heaven. Singing \;with the greats and wishing all the aspiring songwriters success in the pursuit of their dreams.

\nOn May 5th\, a date with many stories to tell\, come join us as we help Lee &lsquo\;Pay It Forward&rsquo\;. Lee&rsquo\;s friends\, co-workers\, fellow musicians and fans will join Lee&rsquo\;s family in aCelebration of Life \;to honor one of the true \;pure spirits. A lady who could instantly light up a room with her smile\, belt out a song with the best of \;them and who was always happy to raise a toast at the end of a night. \;Besides celebrating Lee&rsquo\;s life\, we will be helping promising songwriters through our contributions\, which \;include the ticket price\, to the \;Lee Villaire Songwriter Scholarship.

\nThe night will be overflowing with musicians &\; songwriters from Lee&rsquo\;s time in the USA. Some will cover \;some of Lee&rsquo\;s hits\, there will be some original music capped with dancing and letting go to end the \;night. In between acts original short videos will highlight various parts of Lee&rsquo\;s career. You will be a fly \;on the wall listening in to Lee&rsquo\;s creative process. These sometimes-comical journeys of song creation \;include the earliest spark of an idea\, to the &lsquo\;this is never going to work&rsquo\; recordings up to finished radio-ready tracks. It is a night designed to entertain\, just as Lee always intended. \;

\nFor those who loved Lee as a singer &\; performer we fully understand. Blessed with an incredibly \;dynamic voice and a true sense of what it means to entertain\, Lee would be honored for those \;remembrances\; however\, it was not singing or entertaining that was Lee&rsquo\;s true passion. What Lee was \;most passionate about was crafting a good song. An ear worm that could make you cry\, make you laugh\, \;make you wonder or simply make you tap your feet and smile. That&rsquo\;s what Lee was chasing. That is \;where Lee spent her time. That&rsquo\;s what the Lee Villaire Songwriter Scholarship Fund will help keep alive.
