DESCRIPTION:Jason Palmer Quintet: "Wally's Northwest"\n\nFRIDAY\, OCTOBER 19\, 2018 at 7:30 PM\n\nThis Best of Boston trumpeter brings the legendary Wally's Caf  a few paces west with original jazz compositions and contemporary takes on jazz standards. One of the most in demand musicians of his generation\, Jason Palmer and his quintet have been leading the house band every weekend at Boston's historical Wally's Jazz Caf  for the past twelve years. He has also presented his band at the Tanglewood Jazz Fest\, Sculler's Jazz Club\, the Stone and the Jazz Gallery in NYC\, the Studio in Hartford\, as well as numerous venues throughout New England. Jason has performed on over forty albums as a sideman\, recorded eight albums under his own name\, and is currently a Steeplechase Records Recording artist.
