SUMMARY:* Is Your Board Bored? (Enterprise Bank Event)
DESCRIPTION:Please Join Us \n\n Is Your Board Bored?\n\n Wednesday\, April 9\, 2014 \n\n Lanam Club\n\n 260 N. Main St.\, Andover\, MA \n\n 7:30 a.m.-Doors Open \n\n 8:00-10:00 a.m.-Speaking Program\n \n	\n\n \n\n\n	\n \n \n \n	\n\n \n\n\n	\n \n It is not uncommon to hear a non-profit executive say: "I can't seem to get my Board to do it." My question is: "To do what?" There are numerous reasons that Board members become inactive. Is it their fault? Perhaps not. Accepting the Board appointment because their friend asked them to do so\, conflicting expectations\, or not feeling needed in a "significant" way\, may be a few factors contributing to Board Boredom. Regardless\, your organization can't afford it. This workshop will explore the essential responsibilities of the Board\, the mistakes we make in recruiting members\, and some opportunities to keep them "engaged." After all\, the success of your organization depends upon it. \n \n	\n\n \n\n\n	\n \n Enterprise Bank Non-Profit Collaborative Seminars are Free.\n\n Breakfast buffet provided. Limited seating.\n\n To register or for more information\, Call Andrew Duncan \n\n at 877-671-2265 or email: andrew.duncan@ebtc.com
