DESCRIPTION:The Groton Firefighters Association (GFA) would like to invite everyone to the annual Labor Day Muster and Bar-B-Q\, which will be held at the H&V Field\, located at 250 Townsend Road in West Groton on Monday\, September 2\, 2013.\n\n\n\nFestivities begin at 11AM\, kicking off with a parade of emergency vehicles both old and new. The parade will begin at the Senior Center and continue to H&W Field on Townsend Road. Once there\, lunch will be served at noon\, the menu includes our signature BBQ marinated chicken\, hamburgers\, hotdogs\, Italian sausages\, fried dough and other various sundries.\n\n\n\nFollowing lunch there will be many firefighting inspired games and events including a ladder climb and the flame-aim challenge. Cheer on firefighting teams as they compete to ready a firetruck for action! There will also be an exhilarating drenching twist on volleyball. Tons to do for all ages. So come on down and herald the unofficial end to summer with family members\, your community and members of the Groton Firefighters Association. We look forward to seeing you there!
