DESCRIPTION:You're invited to join the Nashua River Watershed Association for a free walk in Brookline\, NH with UNH foresters who will speak about the role of forests in our changing climate.\n\nWHEN:  Tuesday\, October 25\, 2022\, 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. \n\nWHERE:  Hobart Fessenden Woods in Brookline NH. Meeting at the Cider Mill Pond trailhead. Register for map/directions.\n\nWHAT:  Join NRWA's Land Programs Director\, Al Futterman\, and University of New Hampshire (UNH) Extension foresters for a leisurely walk through Hobart Fessenden Woods in Brookline NH for a discussion of forest ecology\, forest carbon dynamics\, and climate change's impact on our forests. We'll examine how our forests sequester and store carbon and take a close look at how the Hobart Fessenden Woods fits into this discussion. The walk will be led by Mike Gagnon\, Matt Kelly\, and Steve Roberge\, all foresters with UNH. Read presenter bios.\n\nDETAILS:  This walk is intended for adults and older teens. For the comfort of all\, no dogs are allowed. Trail condition is an easy walk of 1  miles.
