DESCRIPTION:The Bay State Brawlers roller derby team is kicking off its 2019 season with its Fifth Annual Chili Cook-Off and Tasting from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday\, March 30\, at the Clinton VFW.\n\nFans\, neighbors\, and chili enthusiasts are invited to join the local roller derby league entry to compete for "Best Chili" bragging rights and cash prizes.\n\nOther awards include season tickets to the league's home games at the Wallace Civic Center in Fitchburg and raffle items from area businesses. In addition to chili\, the concessions will include cornbread and all the fixin's\, a bake sale\, and beverages. Team merchandise will also be available.\n\nTo enter the cookoff\, bring your best chili recipe in a crockpot before 1:45 p.m. The entry fee is $25.
