DESCRIPTION:Conservation Commission presents the annual\n\nFall Foliage Walk this Saturday\, Oct. 13\nFrom 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.\, join the Trustees at Farandnear for some seasonal pre-walk activities\, including golf putting\, bean bag toss\, horseshoes\, Nature Quest\, apple pressing\, hot apple cider\, and a guided walk of the trees of the Farandnear Pinetum. Additional refreshments will be available for purchase from the Ayer Shirley High School Band Boosters. \n\nTwo walks through Shirley conservation land will leave from Farandnear in the afternoon: a long walk (around three hours\, beginning at 1) and a short one (a little over a half hour\, heading out at 1:30). Both walks\, which will be held rain or shine\, will end at Valley Farm\, where refreshments will be served by the Field family.
