DESCRIPTION:The MassHire North Central Career Center invites you to attend a presentation by The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) October 15th at 1PM. \n\n \n\nEEOC Overview for Businesses\n\nOctober 15\, 2020 1PM- 3PM\n\nMasshire North Central Career Center VIa WEBEX\n\n \n\nThe EEOC is responsible for enforcing federal laws that make it illegal to discriminate against a job applicant or an employee because of the person's race\, color\, religion\, sex\, national origin\, age\, disability or genetic information. Most employers with at least 15 employees are covered by EEOC laws- most labor unions and employment agencies are also covered.\n\n \n\nEEOC also works to prevent discrimination before it occurs through outreach\, education and technical assistance programs.
