Early on she answered every phone call that came in at the front desk and later became Tuck Nichols' assistant. Her books share what is meant to be the voice of Nichols & Stone\, how the job helped her become the person she is today\, and the value of the relationships everyone built with each other over the years. 'We were a family\, we spent 8-9 hours a day together talking\, laughing and sharing. You hear their problems\, they hear yours. You just row together. It was important to me that we stay connected.'
