DESCRIPTION:Swing Your Sweetheart? Learn to Swing Dance! Known as a group of dances that developed with the swing style of jazz music in the 1920s-1950s. Bring your family\, friends\, dance partner or come by yourself  from 7-10pm  on  Saturday February 15\, 2014  at the Pepperell Community Center. Don?t know how? From 7:00-8:00p.m. join a lesson on how to swing dance. After 8:00p.m. you can try your new dance skills out on the dance floor  or  move to the music in any style! Admission is $7 paid at the door and includes the lesson\, dancing\, drinks and snacks! There will also be door prizes and a large list of raffle items from such places like: High Country WorkWear\, Blue Heron Promotional Apparel\, SunCity Tanning Salon\, Subway\, Horseman?s Exchange\, and many more!   Proceeds from the dance benefit the 4H Pepperell Trailblazers. The club would like to donate to local food pantries and will be collecting  non-perishable food items at the door for $1.00 off admission to the dance. The 4H Pepperell Trailblazers will also be promoting Healthy Kids Out of School (www.healthykidshub.org).  The program supports staff and volunteers in organizations from around the country in adopting three simple guiding principles for healthier programs. These principles are: Drink Right- Choose water instead of sugar-sweetened beverages\; Move More- Boost movement and physical activity in all programs\; Snack Smart- Fuel up on fruits and vegetables. A grant from Healthy Kids Out of School program is helping the club provide free food and drinks for everyone.
